NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WYANDOTTE PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Wyandotte will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., Local Time, at the Wyandotte City Hall, 3200 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, in the City Council Chambers, for the purpose of hearing arguments in favor of, and objections to the following: PUBLIC HEARING #05052026– Request from Jessica and Joseph White, Owner and Appellant, for a Certificate of Occupancy for a road side stand at 2524 5 th Street, Wyandotte, Michigan, the property is located in a RM-1 Zoning District. This use does not comply with Sections 190.035(I)(2) of the Ordinance, which requires: Section 190.035(I)(4) : Any proposed home occupation that is neither specifically permitted by division (I)(2), nor specifically prohibited (I)(3) shall be considered a special use and be granted or denied upon consideration by the Planning Commission. Section 190.065: Farm Stand is not listed as a principal use or a permitted use for an RM-1 zoning district. This notice is for the purpose of giving any interested party the opportunity to appear or to have their attitude expressed at this hearing in support of or in opposition to this request. You may also express your views in writing, but the letter must be received by the Commission at Wyandotte City Hall, 3200 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, MI 48192, prior to the date of the public hearing. In the event this meeting is canceled, the hearings will be held at the next scheduled meeting without any further notice. As required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, access to all programs, services and activities provided by the City of Wyandotte are available to individuals with disabilities with 48 hours’ notice.
