NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT CITY OF FLAT ROCK, WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN FLAT ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2025, 6:00 P.M. Pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110, Public Acts of 2006, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Flat Rock Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Flat Rock City Hall, 25500 Gibraltar Rd., Flat Rock, MI 48134. The meeting will be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended. The public hearing will be held to discuss a proposed amendment to Article 3.00, Nonconformities, of the City’s Zoning Ordinance. The amendment proposes to correct unaligned sections of the ordinance and clarify that nonconforming single-family uses are permitted to be replaced.
