NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED REZONING CITY OF FLAT ROCK, WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN FLAT ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2025, 6:00 P.M. Pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110, Public Acts of 2006, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Flat Rock Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Flat Rock City Hall, 25500 Gibraltar Rd., Flat Rock, MI 48134. The meeting will be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended. The public hearing will be held to discuss the amendment of the City’s Zoning Map for three (3) Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) that were not constructed, in accordance with the procedures defined in Section 24.04.B.18 of the Zoning Ordinance. The PUDs for consideration and the parcels impacted are: Falling Water (PUD 398-128A-156-06) (Parcels 58098990003704, 58098990008002, 58098990011701) Stone Water (PUD 396-128A-154-05) (Parcels 58101010025000, 58101010024000, 58101010023000, 58101010022000, 58101010021000) Knottingham Estates (PUD 388-128A-151-05) (Parcels 58095990009001, 58095990008001, 58095990005003, 58095010003001, 58095010014000, 58095010006001, 58095990003000) The properties which make up the PUDs are proposed to be rezoned to the original zoning classification or the equivalent district prescribed in the City’s Master Plan.
