NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CHIPPEWA RIVER DISTRICT LIBRARY County of Isabella, Michigan ON THE ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE LIBRARY DISTRICT OF THE CHIPPEWA RIVER DISTRICT LIBRARY: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the CHIPPEWA RIVER DISTRICT LIBRARY, ISABELLA County, Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 18 th day of November, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., in the Library Annex Meeting Room of the VETERANS MEMORIAL LIBRARY, Michigan, to consider the approval and adoption of the operating budget of the CHIPPEWA RIVER DISTRICT LIBRARY for the fiscal year 2026. Copies of the proposed budget are on file with the Finance Director at the VETERANS MEMORIAL LIBRARY, 301 South University Avenue, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, for inspection during regular library hours. At the public hearing, all citizens, taxpayers, and property owners of the CHIPPEWA RIVER DISTRICT LIBRARY, comprised of the City of Mount Pleasant, the Townships of Union, Coe, Fremont, Rolland, and the Mount Pleasant Public Schools District shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the approval of the budget. THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.
