NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 26, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street} Romeo, MI 48065. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request submitted by Joseph Canu for a variance to expand an existing barn at 69401 Henry Ross Dr (parcel ID 14-01-31-400-019). A previous approval for this property has lapsed, and the request is to re-approve the variance to permit construction to resume. The variance is to permit a side setback of 5 feet where 10 feet is required. A complete copy of the application for a variance may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township's regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on January 26, 2026.
