NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING TO ROCHESTER HILLS RESIDENTS: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS will hold a Public Hearing on April 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following request: REQUEST: PVAI2026-0004 – The applicant is requesting a variance from Sec. 138-5.100 Schedule of Regulations, which requires a 35-foot rear yard setback in the R-3 One Family Residential zoning district, and Section 138-5.101 Footnote O states that the minimum rear yard setback may be reduced to 30 feet on lots that border land permanently dedicated for recreation purposes. The proposed variance, if granted, would allow for the construction of a covered rear porch (lanai) addition to the existing home, resulting in a rear yard setback of 27.55 feet. LOCATION: 691 Brookwood Ln. E., located south of Tienken and east of Brewster, Parcel 15-08-277-012, zoned R-3 One Family Residential District.
