NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD FOR THE 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN CITY OF PONTIAC Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program Notice is hereby given that the City of Pontiac has completed a draft of the 2026 Annual Action Plan for its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program. Prior to submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), a draft of the 2026 Annual Action Plan with pre-commitment of funds is available for public review and comment for a 30-day period from June 16, 2026, through July 16, 2026. The plan can be accessed via the City’s website: Housing Vitality CDBG & HOME Program https://pontiac.mi.us/housingvitality or in person by appointment at the City of Pontiac’s Community Development Department & Housing Vitality Division, located at the City Hall, 47450 Woodward Avenue, Pontiac, MI 48342, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. HUD offers these program grants to develop viable communities that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income people. The City of Pontiac has been awarded approximately $1,399,738.00 in CDBG funds, $428,550.91 in HOME funds. A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:00 pm, during the City Council meeting to afford the opportunity for input to be recorded on the 2026 Annual Action Plan for CDBG and HOME programs for the Program Year 2026. The public is invited to attend the public hearing and provide verbal or written comments.
