NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN MACOMB HOME CONSORTIUM (MHC) – HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (HOME) URBAN COUNTY OF MACOMB – COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) The County of Macomb (County) is required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Annual Action Plan (AAP) describing the use of the Urban County of Macomb’s CDBG annual allocation and MHC’s annual HOME funding allocation. The AAP provides a concise summary of the actions, activities, and the specific federal and non-federal resources that will be used to address the priority needs and specific goals identified by the Consolidated Plan. 2026 MHC HOME Program and Urban County CDBG Program Annual Action Plan Macomb County will, on its own behalf, and that of the Macomb HOME Consortium, hold a public hearing at 9:00 am on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to seek input for development of its 2026 Annual Action Plan. The public hearing will be held in the Great Lakes Conference room located at Macomb County Planning and Economic Development, 1 S. Main Street, 7 th Floor, Mount Clemens, MI 4804. The MHC; comprised of the Urban County of Macomb, Clinton Township, and the Cities of Roseville and Sterling Heights, will receive $1,629,921.39* in 2026 HOME funding, and the Urban County of Macomb will receive $1,913,886.00* in 2026 CDBG funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. *Actual funding amounts were not available at time of publication. Funding amounts included in this notice are estimated based on the prior year allocations. Also, prior year program funds may be reallocated in the 2026 AAP if the 2026 CDBG and HOME allocations are insufficient to meet the goals of the plan. Member communities are listed below.
