NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF MOUNT CLEMENS, COUNTY OF MACOMB, STATE OF MICHIGAN NOTICE OF THE ADDOPTION OF A BROWNFIELD PLAN FOR ALRO STEEL, MOUNT CLEMENS, MICHIGAN, PURSUANT TO AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF ACT 381 OF THE PUBLIC ACTS OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN OF 1996, AS AMENDED PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT a Public Hearing shall be held before the Mount Clemens City Commission the 6th day of April 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall One Crocker Boulevard, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043, on the adoption of a Brownfield Plan for Alro Steel and the property located at 215 N. River Road, Mount Clemens, Michigan, further identified below. The Brownfield Redevelopment Authority shall exercise its powers pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of the Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act, being Act 381 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan of 1996, as amended. Eligible costs include public infrastructure improvements, site preparation, site demolition, and other costs related to the preparation and implementation of the Brownfield Plan. The brownfield plan must first be approved by the Mount Clemens City Commission. This description of the property along with any maps and a description of the Brownfield Plan are available for public inspection at the City’s Community Development Department. All aspects of the Brownfield Plan are open for discussion at the public hearing.
