NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESTROY RECORDS Mt. Pleasant Public Schools maintains records for students residing in the Mt. Pleasant School District and referred for and/or receiving special education services. The Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, Special Education Department retains this information for a period of seven (7) years beyond the time when services are terminated. At that time, Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, Special Education Department intends to destroy these special education records. Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, Special Education Department no longer needs the information contained in special education files on students whose special education services terminated in 2017 or BEFORE and intends to destroy these special education records 30 days from the date of publication of this notice. If a student or parent/guardian wishes to obtain a copy of these records prior to destruction, please contact the Mt.
