NOTICE CITY OF STERLING HEIGHTS TAXPAYERS The 2026 summer property taxes and special assessments are due and payable July 1 through September 1. Summer tax bills paid after September 1 will be subject to interest charges. The 2026 winter property taxes and special assessments will be due and payable December 1 through March 1, 2027. Bills are payable online at www.sterlingheights.gov then select “Payments”, by phone at (586) 446-2780, by mail, or at the City of Sterling Heights Treasurer's Office. After March 1, 2027, all property tax bills levied by the City of Sterling Heights will be subject to penalty and interest charges and are only payable to the Macomb County Treasurer.
