Memphis Community Schools Memphis, Michigan Request for Proposal Lawn Care Maintenance Services February 19, 2026 Please consider this document as a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for Memphis Community Schools 2026 Seasonal Lawn Care and Maintenance. Bids are to be received in the Memphis Community Schools Superintendent’s office located at 34110 Bordman Rd, Memphis, Michigan 48041 by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026. All bids will be opened and recorded as they are submitted. The Board of Education will be made aware of the bids at the March 23, 2026 regularly scheduled board meeting. The Memphis Community Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, whether in whole or in part, to award a contract to other than the low bidder; to waive any irregularities and/or informalities; and in general to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the District. Introduction: Memphis Community Schools, located in Memphis, Michigan, is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors for lawn care maintenance services. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a vendor who can provide professional and reliable lawn care services for our school district's properties. Background: Memphis Community Schools is a public school district serving the educational needs of students in our community. We take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Scope of Work: The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive lawn care maintenance services for the school district's properties, which include but are not limited to: Memphis Junior/Senior High School, located at 34130 Bordman Road, Memphis Michigan 48041 - Memphis Elementary School, located at 34165 Bordman Road, Memphis Michigan 48041 - Memphis Bus Garage, located at 34841 Bordman Road, Memphis Michigan 48041 - Memphis Central Office, located at 34110 Bordman Road, Memphis Michigan 48041 - Mowing of grass areas to a height of 3” once per week. - Edging of sidewalks, cracks, curbs, buildings, and athletic facilities. - Trimming bushes, around trees, flower beds, drainage ditches, and other obstacles. - Weed control in grass and flower beds, including athletic fields. - Keeping grass clippings out of baseball/softball diamonds, pitching area, and track around the football field, removal of leaves, and debris. - Any additional services necessary to maintain a well-groomed appearance of the district. Proposal Requirements: Interested vendors are requested to submit their proposals containing the following information: 1. Company Profile: Provide an overview of your company, including years of experience in providing lawn care maintenance services and number of employees. 2. Service Approach: Please include the equipment you use to ensure high-quality results. 3. Proposed Schedule: Outline your proposed schedule for performing lawn care services, including frequency of visits and any flexibility in scheduling to accommodate school events or weather conditions. 4. Pricing: Provide a detailed pricing structure for the services outlined in the scope of work. Include any discounts or incentives for long-term contracts. 5. References: Furnish references from current or previous clients who can attest to the quality and reliability of your lawn care services. 6. Insurance and Licensing: Provide proof of liability insurance and any required licenses or permits to operate as a lawn care service provider in Michigan.
