CITY OF FERNDALE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Ferndale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 300 E. Nine Mile, Ferndale, MI 48220, on Wednesday, January 21, 2025, at 6:30PM, for the purpose of considering a planned unit development (PUD) application, submitted by Deanna Bader, in accordance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Public Act 110 of 2006). This public hearing will be held under provisions of the Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.261, et seq.). The planned unit development (PUD) application was submitted to the City in accordance with Article 11, Planned Unit Development, of the Zoning Ordinance. The PUD application proposes changes to the youth educational and therapeutic services campus operated by LifeLab Kids, located at: Sidwell number 25-26-106-018, T1N, R11E, SEC 26 BERMORE SUB NO 1 LOTS 117 TO 132 INCL EXC W 20 FT OF LOTS 117 TO 126 INCL & EXC W 20 FT OF LOTS 129 TO 132 INCL, commonly known as 3178 Hilton Rd. This public meeting will be held under the provisions of the Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.261, et seq.). Any resident or property owner may participate in the public hearing or submit written comments to the Community and Economic Development Department by mail (300 E. 9 Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220) or email (ced@ferndalemi.gov) prior to the meeting. The proposed Conditional Rezoning application application will be available for public inspection at City Hall, during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday.
