LEGAL NOTICE Lake Improvement Board for Watkins Lake Township of Waterford, Oakland County, Michigan HEARING OF PRACTICABILITY Notice is hereby given that the Lake Improvement Board for Watkins Lake in the Township of Waterford, County of Oakland, will meet in the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, March 10, 2026, to determine the practicability of (2) projects for Watkins Lake. The first project is the purchase of a Mechanical Weed Harvester. The estimated cost of this project is $176,447. The second project is implementation of an Aquatic Weed Control Program for the years of 2026, 2027 and 2028. The estimated cost of this three-year project is $200,190. This hearing is called pursuant to the provisions of Section 30910 of Part 309 of Public Acts No. 59 of 1995. During this meeting there will be an Agenda Item for Public Comment, during which the public may provide input or ask questions of the board.
