LEGAL/PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF FARMINGTON HILLS Notice of Public Hearing and 30-day Comment Period Community Development Block Grant Program Annual Action Plan 2026-2027 Five-year Consolidated Plan 2026 - 2030 It is anticipated that the City of Farmington Hills will receive approximately $358,837 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for PY2026 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027). This amount is estimated based on prior year allocations. The final award amount may vary. Any adjustment in funding will result in a corresponding adjustment to the Housing Rehabilitation activity. Additionally, an estimated $50,000 in program income from Housing Rehabilitation activities is included in the proposed use of funds. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held to receive public comments regarding the development of the PY2026 CDBG Annual Action Plan (2026-2027), Five-Year Consolidated Plan (2026-2030), and a proposed amendment to the Citizen Participation Plan on Monday March 23, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. EDT in Council Chambers of City Hall, at 31555 Eleven Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48336. The proposed Citizen Participation Plan amendment updates public notice and comment procedures to maintain federal compliance. A 30-day public comment period will be held February 22, 2026 through March 26, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. Draft documents are available for review at the City of Farmington Hills -Community Development Office 31555 W.
