ORDINACE NO. 167 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN, TO AMEND CERTAIN CHAPTERS OF THE RICHMOND CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO MAKE VIOLATIONS OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE RICHMOND CITY ORDINANCES CIVIL INFRACTIONS. THE CITY OF RICHMOND ORDAINS: Section 1: Chapter 14, Article I, shall be civil infractions as provided in Article X, Municipal Civil Infractions, of the Richmond City Code of Ordinances: Section 14-2 through 14-5, Section 14-9 and 14-10. Section 2: Chapter 14: Pet Cemetery, is hereby amended to provide that violations of the following Sections of Chapter 14, Article IV, shall be civil infractions: Section 14-84, Section 14-86 through 14-97, Section 14-99 through 14-102, Section 14-104 through 14-106. Section 3: Chapter 30: Cemeteries, is amended to provide that violation of the following Sections of Chapter 30, Article II, shall be civil infractions: Section 30-27 through 30-42, Section 30-44 through 30-47, Section 30-49 through 30-51. Section 4: Chapter 66: Garage and Yard Sales, is hereby amended to provide that violations of Chapter 66, Article II, shall be civil infractions: Section 66-27 through 66-30. Section 5: The penalties and fines for the violation of the Richmond City Code of Ordinances that are hereby made civil infractions shall be those penalties and fines provided in Sections 54-402 and Section 54-408. Section 6: The provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable and if any part is declared invalid for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction it shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance, which shall continue in full force and effect. Section 8: All provisions of the Richmond City Code of Ordinances not amended by this Ordinance are ratified and confirmed. All resolutions, ordinances, orders or parts thereof in conflict in whole or in part with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its enactment.
