CITY OF FERNDALE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS The City of Ferndale will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 300 E. Nine Mile, Ferndale, MI 48220, on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM, for the purpose of hearing public comments on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2026 application to fund eligible projects. This public meeting will be held under the provisions of the Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.261, et seq.). Any resident or property owner may participate in the Public Hearing or submit written comments to the Community and Economic Development Department by mail (300 E. 9 Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220) or email (ced@ferndalemi.gov) prior to the meeting. The agenda for the City Council meeting will be available for review at https://www.ferndalemi.gov/government/city-meetings (scroll down to “Upcoming Events”, click on “Agenda” next to “City Council”). Arrangements can be made to reasonably accommodate special needs including handicap accessibility or an interpreter with 72-hour notice.
