Eastpointe Community Schools (Owner) is seeking bids for new and upgraded radios, associated equipment, and installation in all district buildings. Proposed systems shall be configured and installed to service Owner’s needs across multiple instructional and support facilities. Bids will be RECEIVED until 11:00 A.M. local time, Thursday, May 13, 2026. Sealed bids should be mailed or delivered to: Eastpointe Community Schools Sealed Bid: RADIO SYSTEM RENOVATION; Attn: Mr. Danny Laethem, Technology and School Safety Coordinator, Eastpointe Community Schools, 24685 Kelly Road, Eastpointe, Michigan 48021. The OPENING of the bids will take place at 10:00 A.M. local time at Eastpointe Community Schools Administrative Center, 24685 Kelly Road, Eastpointe, Michigan 48021. Specifications and any relevant Drawings may be obtained from the Technology Designer. Contractors may obtain copies by documented request to Communications by Design, Attn: Rebecca Szilagy. Requests may be made by writing to 4101 Sparks Drive Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546 or through emailing rszilagy@cbdconsulting.com starting April 15, 2026 at 4:30 P.M. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 380.1267, disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District or the Superintendent of the School District. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 129.313, certifying that the bidder is not an Iran linked business. The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include sworn and notarized copies of the familial relationship disclosure statement and affidavit of compliance with the Iran Sanction Act. Eastpointe Community Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part or to waive any informalities or irregularities that may be in the best interest of the School District.
