Box 30458 Lansing, Michigan 48909-7958 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TAKE NOTICE that the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, (EGLE) Water Resources Division (WRD) will hold an online public hearing on Monday, June 22, 2026. The purpose of this hearing is to secure the views of interested persons concerning the following application for permit: Application for, 50-William P Rosso Hwy, Tucker Jones Drain, Selfridge ANG (submittal number HQG-1157-8BXZC) under Part 31, Water Resources Protection; Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams; Part 303, Wetlands Protection, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, by applicant name Michigan Air National Guard. The applicant proposes to extend the existing runway across William P. Rosso Highway to comply with FAA Clear Zone requirements. The work will be completed in two phases. This public hearing is for the work proposed in phase one, which includes relocation of public infrastructure and Rosso Highway in preparation for the runway extension. The project is located in T03N, R14E, Section 31 and 32 and T02N, R14E, Section 05 and 06, Harrison and Chesterfield Townships, Macomb County, Michigan.
