VILLAGE OF FRANKLIN NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF DEMOLITION PERMIT FRANKLIN VILLAGE HALL 32325 FRANKLIN ROAD FRANKLIN, MICHIGAN 48025 February 9, 2026, 6:00 P.M. Notice is hereby given Applicant: JKizy Design and Build 6476 Orchard Lake Road, Ste D West Bloomfield, Mi 48322 To be demolished: 30430 Inkster Road The above applicant has fulfilled the requirements as described in the Franklin Village ordinances, being section 1460.02 for the application to demolish the residential structure at the above location. With this report, it has been forwarded to the Historic District Commission for their determination as specified in section 1460.05 and 1460.07 as to whether the structure is in a proposed historic district. This was scheduled for the Historic District Commission meeting held on January 7, 2026. The Historic District Commission determined there was no historical significance in the current structure, as well as determined that structure did not stand within a designated historic district. In recognition of the satisfactory completion of these prerequisites, Village Council will consider the granting of a demolition permit at the regular Council Meeting on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 6 PM located at Village Offices, 32325 Franklin Rd, Franklin MI, 48025.
