Notice of Public Sale The City of Dearborn Police Department will conduct a public auction sale of the below described abandoned or impounded vehicles on January 21 st 2026 @ 10:00AM. The auction will be held at Rusko’s Towing, located at 2929 Ferney in the City of Dearborn. All vehicles are sold as is and are subject to towing, storage and other charges/fees. The vehicles can be viewed the day of the auction. The City of Dearborn reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All Bidders will be required to provide a government-issued identification at time of auction. Minimum starting bids will be announced at beginning of auction. Bidding will be in minimum increments of $25.00, unless otherwise noted. Bidders must speak clearly when communicating with the Officer. Purchased vehicles MUST be paid for in CASH IMMEDIATELY after the auction. Winning bidders MUST be present immediately upon completion of auction or vehicle(s) will be forfeited to Rusko’s. Non-paying bidders will not be allowed to attend future auctions and could be subject to civil action. There will ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Vehicles purchased at this auction must NOT be parked on City of Dearborn public streets or within driveways without proper registration. Repairs of vehicles WILL NOT BE ALLOWED within the impound yard property. Vehicles must be removed from Rusko’s property within 4-days of purchase.
