City of Lincoln Park Planning Commission Notice of Public Hearing April 22, 2026 Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the City of Lincoln Park that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Lincoln Park City Hall to solicit comments on the proposed zoning applications within the City. Zoning Text Amendment: Temporary Moratorium For Outdoor Used Auto Sales Lots and Automobile Wash Establishments The proposed zoning text amendment will amend Section 1278.03 and 1282.03 to place a temporary moratorium on the permitting of used auto sales lots with outdoor display, and will amend 1278.03 and 1282.02 to place a temporary moratorium on the permitting of automobile wash establishments. These proposals are available for review at www.citylp.com one week before the public hearing date. Comments from the public are welcome at the public hearing to be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 7:00 pm or shortly after as the agenda allows, at Lincoln Park City Hall, 1355 Southfield Road, Lincoln Park MI 48146. Written comments may be submitted to the City of Lincoln Park Building Department, until the day before the meeting. This notice is in compliance with sections 1262.07 and 1262.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lincoln Park, Michigan Public Act 267 of 1976 (Open Meetings Act), and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The City of Lincoln Park will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the meeting to individuals with disability at the hearing upon seven (7) days prior notice to the City of Lincoln Park.
