NOTICE CITY OF GIBRALTAR 2025 WINTER TAX BILLS Tax bills for real and personal property located in the City of Gibraltar are due and payable December 1, 2025 through February 17, 2026 without penalty. Beginning February 18, 2026, a penalty of 4% will be added. FAILURE TO RECEIVE YOUR TAX BILL WILL NOT DEFER PAYMENT OF PENALTY. Taxes are payable by mail (postmark accepted); in person at the Treasurer’s Office, 29450 Munro St., Gibraltar MI 48173 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or can be put in the City drop box located in front of City Hall. Beginning March 2, 2026 taxes for Real Property can only be paid to the Wayne County Treasurer Eric Sabree, The International Center Building, 400 Monroe St. – 5 th Floor, Detroit, MI. 48226, together with the 4% penalty, property tax admin. fee plus 1% per month interest computed from March 2, 2026.
