Charter Township of Huron Zoning Board of Appeals Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Charter Township of Huron will hold a Public Hearing, Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Huron Township Hall, 22950 Huron River Drive, New Boston, MI on the following: ZBA2026-001, 17385 Hannan, New Boston, MI 48164. The applicant is requesting a variance to Ordinance 530, Section 42(A). The applicant would like to build a 1440 square foot detached accessory building on their property. They are requesting a ten (10’) foot side yard setback rather than the required twenty (20’) foot side yard setback to the south side of the property. The property is zoned R-1 (Single Family Residential). Tax Parcel #75-022-99-0019-722. A copy of the petitioner's request may be examined at the Township Office during business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Written comments concerning this request will be received at the Township office from the date of this publication until the date of the Public Hearing.
