CITY OF ROYAL OAK PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the Royal Oak Zoning Board of Appeals will hold an in-person meeting on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, Room 121, City Hall, 203 S. Troy St., Royal Oak, Michigan, to conduct a public hearing on the following appeal: Case No. 26-04-06 – Public hearing on the appeal of Sean Hunter, petitioner & owner, for the following variance: (a) waive 36 sq. ft. of the maximum allowable accessory ground floor area of 800 sq. ft. to permit construction of a separate 264 sq. ft. detached shed / accessory building at 1007 Butternut Ave. (25-06-129-015).
