CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS NOTICE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS, OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Rochester Hills who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the City Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at Michigan.gov/vote and mailed to the City Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at michigan.gov/vote. The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, July 20, 2026. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.497) at the City of Rochester Hills Clerk’s Office, located at 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan at the following times: Regular business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 25 th and 26 th , as well as Saturday and Sunday, August 1 st and 2 nd , 2026 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Election Day, Tuesday, August 4th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The August 4, 2026 Primary Election will be conducted in all voting precincts of the City of Rochester Hills: STATE Governor CONGRESSIONAL U.S. Senator, Representative in Congress LEGISLATIVE State Senator, Representative in State Legislature JUDICIAL Judge of Circuit Court – 6 th Circuit – Non-Incumbent Position, Judge of Probate Court – Non-Incumbent Position And for the purpose of electing DELEGATES TO COUNTY CONVENTION of the Democratic and Republican Parties. And for the purpose of voting on the following PROPOSALS: CITY: Pathway Millage Renewal Shall the City of Rochester Hills renew and continue to levy 0.1715 mill ($0.1715 per $1,000 of taxable value) to establish, construct, maintain, and repair pathways and surfaces for use by bicycles, non-motorized vehicles, and pedestrians along main, arterial, and collector roads, on the Clinton River Trail, Paint Creek Trail, and to create linkages to pathways and schools in the City for ten (10) years, beginning in 2026 (for fiscal year 2027) and continuing through 2035 (for fiscal year 2036), which will provide an estimated revenue of $864,920 if levied in the first year of such levy. Proposed City Charter Amendment to Authorize Additional Millage for Funding the Fire Department A proposal to amend the City Charter by modifying Section 4.2, subsection .4. This subsection authorizes the City to levy up to 3.0 mills for funding the Fire Department. Required millage rollbacks have reduced this to 2.7798 mills. If adopted, the charter amendment will increase the amount the City may levy for funding the Fire Department to 3.5 mills, which, if levied in full, will raise an estimated $5,039,970 in additional revenue in the first year. Shall the City Charter be amended to authorize the City to levy up to 3.5 mills for funding the Fire Department? INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT: Oakland Intermediate School District Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal Pursuant to state law, revenue raised by this proposed regional enhancement millage will be collected by the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District and distributed on an equal per- pupil basis to local public school districts and eligible public school academies within the boundaries of the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District. Shall the limitation on the amount of ad valorem taxes which may be imposed on taxable property in the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District, State of Michigan, be increased by 1.5 mills ($1.50 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of six (6) years, 2026 to 2031, inclusive, as new additional millage to provide funds to enhance other state and local funding for public school operating purposes? This millage would raise an estimated $125,756,247 if approved and first levied in 2026.
