CITY OF RIVERVIEW PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN a public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Conference Room of the Municipal Building located at 14100 Civic Park Drive, Riverview, MI 48193. The Planning Commission will consider amendments to the City of Riverview Zoning Ordinance for the following items: • Article 15 Walls and Fences - Section 15.01 – General Standards for All Fences and Walls., § D. Wall or Fence Height and Location Standards., § E. Fence and Wall Maintenance.; Section 15.06 – Decorative Fences.; Section 15.08 – Permits Required. Sections have been renumbered for consistency. • Article 6 B-1, B-2, B-3 and FS Districts - Section 6.04 – Fort Street (FS) District., § D.2. Applicability., §. E. Uses Permitted. • Updates to the City of Riverview Zoning Ordinances to include references to Fort Street (FS) District. • 8 Design Standards for Specific Uses to add Section 8.412 Micro-Enterprise and Small-Scale Manufacturing Uses in the Fort Street (FS) District. Copies of the proposed ordinances are available for review at the Community Development Department and City Clerk’s Office located within the Municipal Building, as well as at the City of Riverview Public Library. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED City of Riverview Planning Commission will hear comments on the proposed Zoning Amendments. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing or submit a written statement to the City Clerk or via e-mail to dscurto@cityofriverview.com before 3:00 P.M. on July 16, 2026.
