CITY OF GIBRALTAR COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS MARCH 23, 2026 The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gibraltar, Wayne County, Michigan, convened on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 29450 Munro Ave., Gibraltar, MI 48173. Carried unanimously. Res. #26-078 Motion by Boismier and seconded by McNabb to add “Appointment to Recreation Commission” under New Business on the agenda. Carried unanimously. Res. #26-079 Motion by Boismier and seconded by Cox to approve the agenda as revised. Carried unanimously. Res. #26-080 Motion by Dill and seconded by Boismier to remove items H) Lot Consolidation Request - Lots 0067 & 0068 (Parcels: 36-018-01-0067-000 & 36-018-01-0068-000), J) Police Department - Purchase of Motorola Multi-Unit Impress Radio Charging Station, and L) Fire Department - Repairs to Ladder Truck from the consent agenda and move them to New Business. Carried unanimously. Res. #26-081 Motion by Dill and seconded by Boismier to approve the consent agenda as amended: A. Bills Reference #18 ($244,049.98) B. Payroll #1007 ($96,287.75) C. A motion was made by Boismier and seconded by McNabb to approve Fleis & Vandenbrink for the engineering bid. After discussion, Councilman McNabb withdrew his second for the motion. Res. #26-082 Motion by Molnar and seconded by Dill to authorize McKenna to proceed with a proposal for data center zoning ordinance regulations per their proposed scope of work for an amount not to exceed $6,000.00.
