CITY OF EASTPOINTE COUNTY OF MACOMB STATE OF MICHIGAN SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 26-1256 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 8, ANIMALS, ARTICLE 1. – IN GENERAL The City of Eastpointe has adopted Ordinance No. 26-1256, which amends regulations for animals in motor vehicles, adds regulations for microchipping, amends the regulations for farm animals and for number of dogs allowed, and adds requirements to spay and neuter cats. A true copy of the entire Ordinance can be inspected or obtained by the public at the office of the Eastpointe City Clerk, 23200 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe, Michigan. CERTIFICATION We, Michael Klinefelt, Mayor, and Ryan Madis, City Clerk, for the City of Eastpointe, Macomb County, Michigan, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 26-1256 was duly adopted by the City Council after a second reading thereof at a regular meeting of said Council held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
