CITY OF CLAWSON ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY USE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN per the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act P.A. 110 of 2006 as amended, that a public hearing will be held by the Clawson Zoning Board of Appeals at a regularly scheduled meeting held on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., at the Clawson City Hall (425 North Main Street), for the purpose of hearing and considering public comments on a request for approval of a temporary use: an outdoor dining area with outdoor cooking and outdoor performance facilities on the current driveway at 84 W. 14 Mile, within the City Center (CC) zoning district (Tax ID# 20-33-477-024). Section 34-7.19 of the Zoning Ordinance states that the Zoning Board of Appeals “may permit temporary buildings, structures, and uses for a period not to exceed six months provided that all requirements and conditions are met, as are relative to the type of structure and use, the timing and arrangements for termination and removal.” The application and corresponding documents may be examined on the City’s website (www.CityofClawson.com) or at the Clawson City Hall (425 North Main Street, Clawson, Michigan) during regular office hours.
