CITY OF CLAWSON OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDINANCE NO. 800 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF CLAWSON ZONING ORDINANCE CHAPTER 34, ARTICLE X, SECTION 34-3.2 TO CHANGE THE ZONING OF PROPERTIES IN THE VICINITY OF DOWNTOWN NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF CLAWSON ORDAINS: Chapter 34, Article X, Section 34-3.2 of the Clawson Code of Ordinances shall be amended to change the zoning of 340 North Main Street, parcel IDs 20-34-352-016 and 20-34-352-017, from a mixed designation of O-1 Office Service and R-2 Single Family Residential to a single designation of CR Core Residential. (a) SAVINGS CLAUSE. That nothing in this Ordinance hereby adopted be construed to affect any just or legal right or remedy of any character nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this Ordinance. (b) SEVERABILITY. This Ordinance and its various parts, sentences, paragraph, sections, clauses and rules promulgated hereunder are hereby declared to be severable. If any part, sentence, paragraph, section, clause, or rule promulgated hereunder is adjudged to be unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such holdings shall not affect the remaining portions of this Ordinance. (c) REPEALER. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. DATE OF EFFECT. The Clawson City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published as required by law; and this Ordinance shall take full force and effect ten (10) days after the date of publication. This ordinance was adopted by the City Council of the City of Clawson at a meeting duly called and held on the 5th day of May, 2026, and ordered to be published as prescribed by the law. G.
