CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BROWNSTOWN WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING INTENT TO CREATE AND PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF A BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Brownstown will hold a meeting in the Brownstown Township Offices, 21313 Telegraph Road, Brownstown, Michigan 48183 on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. to hear comments on the following: Public Hearing on the intent to create and provide for the operation of a Brownfield Redevelopment Authority for the Charter Township of Brownstown, within the municipal limits of which the Authority shall exercise its powers, pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of Act 381 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan of 1996, as amended. At the public hearing, a citizen, taxpayer, official from a taxing jurisdiction whose millage may be subject to capture under a brownfield plan, or property owner of the Township desiring to address the Township Board of Trustees shall have an opportunity to be heard on this matter. Written comments on this matter will be accepted by the Director of Economic and Community Services, Mark Kibby at mkibby@brownstown-mi.org, or at the Clerk’s office at the address listed above during business hours until 5:00 P.M. the day of the hearing.
