PUBLIC NOTICE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF CLINTON MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN ANNUAL ACTION PLAN 2026-27 FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND HOME FUNDS The Township of Clinton has been allocated $577,145 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Additionally, the Township has received 2025 Program Income of over $50,000 in the current federal fiscal year which will be reapplied to the Housing Rehabilitation Program and an estimated 2025 Program Income of $40,800 from Heritage Estates, and $26,609 in prior years’ funds which are included in the programming proposed below The primary national objective of the HUD grant is the development of viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment as well as expanding economic opportunities for persons of low- and moderate-income. Consistent with this objective, the Township of Clinton proposes the following budget be established for the administration of the CDBG Program for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
