NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF MOUNT CLEMENS AND PUBLIC SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS A public hearing has been scheduled for the Mount Clemens City Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Mount Clemens Municipal Building, One Crocker Boulevard, Mount Clemens, MI 48043. The purpose of the public hearing will be to obtain the views of citizens and public service organizations concerning community development and housing needs, as required by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. The City of Mount Clemens will be receiving approximately $13,700 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for FY2026 from the Macomb “Urban County” Program for public service organizations. In addition, the city may apply for up to two (2) capital projects, each with a maximum award of $150,000 in CDBG funds. Federal guidelines require that maximum priority be given to activities which primarily benefit low or moderate-income families or which aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight. Citizens residing in blighted areas or lower-income persons are encouraged to participate.
