NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Michigan Economic Development Corporation Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG -DR) Planning Program Grant The City of Mount Clemens will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 pm, in the City Commission chambers, located at Mount Clemens City Hall, 1 Crocker Boulevard, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043, for the purpose of providing the public with an opportunity to submit comments on a proposed application for a CDBG-DR planning grant. The City of Mount Clemens proposes to request approximately $150,000 in CDBG-DR funds. The proposed project involves the preparation of a Citywide Comprehensive Land Use Plan, Economic Development Plan, and Downtown Plan focused on flood mitigation and community resiliency. The majority of funds would support professional planning and consulting services, including data analysis, hazard risk integration, public engagement, and preparation of draft and final planning documents.
