VILLAGE OF SHEPHERD Ordinance Amendment The Village of Shepherd Council, at a published special budget hearing on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 5:30 pm, at the Village Office, 251 W Wright Ave, Shepherd, Michigan approved to adopt the following amended ordinance. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget, and emergency services flat fee special assessment roll were a subject of this ordinance amendment hearing. VILLAGE OF SHEPHERD BUDGET ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT FOR THE VILLAGE OF SHEPHERD, MICHIGAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH PA 1968, NO. 2, SECTION 16, (MCLA 141.436) Adopted: February 26, 2026 Effective: March 1, 2026 Published: March 6, 2026 A complete copy of the ordinance, 2026-2027 budget and the 2026 special fire assessment roll are available for review at the Village Office. CERTIFICATION I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and Clerk of the Village of Shepherd, Michigan do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and complete copy of the ordinance amendment adopted by the Village Council at a special meeting held on February 26, 2026 an original of which is on file in the village office, and that such meeting was conducted and public notice thereof was given pursuant to and in compliance with Act No. 267, Michigan Public Acts of 1976, as amended, and that minutes of such meeting were kept and are available as required by such Act.
