PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SOUTHGATE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS Please take notice that on Wednesday, June 9, 2026 at 7:00 pm, at 14400 Dix Toledo Rd. (City Council Chambers) Southgate, Michigan, the Board of Education of Southgate Community Schools will hold a public hearing to consider the District’s proposed 2026-27 property tax millage rate. The Board may not adopt its proposed 2026-27 property tax millage rate until after a public hearing. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the 2026-27 budget will be the subject of this hearing. This notice is given by the order of the Board of Education.
