CITY OF SOUTHGATE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a Public Hearing held by the City of Southgate Board of Zoning Appeals on Monday, May 11th, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. in the Municipal Council Chambers at 14400 Dix Toledo Highway to hear the following petitions: 1. Dimensional variance request from section 1298.01, Schedule of Area Regulations to allow a reduced front yard setback distance for a commercial building. The subject property is located at 15748 Fort Street, within the C-2, General Business District. 2. Dimensional variance request from section 1298.04, Accessory Uses to allow for the construction of a detached accessory building. The subject property is located at 16650 Aspen Way, within the PD, Planned Development District. 3. Dimensional variance request from section 1298.04, Accessory Uses to allow for the construction of a detached accessory structure (swimming pool). The subject property is located at 16671 Anderson Drive, within the PD, Planned Development District. A copy of the proposed plans is available for public inspection in the Building Department at City Hall during regular business hours. The purpose of this meeting is to hear public comment on the above petitions.
