Section 00 11 13 Advertisement for Bids LAKE SHAMROCK DAM DAM REHABILITATION CITY OF CLARE CLARE COUNTY, MICHIGAN Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Clare at 202 W. Fifth St, Clare MI 48617 until 2:00 PM, Local Time, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at which time and place said Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud for the following work: Construct new primary spillway structure, remove existing spillway, construct auxiliary spillway at location of existing spillway, regrade downstream channel, install SCADA system. Major work items include: install sheetpile cofferdam, construct concrete gated spillway structure, dredging and channel grading, dam demolition, construct auxiliary spillway, install premanufactured pedestrian bridge, install SCADA instrumentation system, and site restoration. Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents can be obtained from the City of Clare website: https://cityofclare.gov/ A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm at City of Clare, 202 W. Fifth St, Clare MI 48617. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. All proposals must be marked “BID FOR LAKE SHAMROCK DAM”. Each Proposal shall contain the following: • One printed copy of all bid documents • One electronic copy (PDF) of all bid documents provided on a USB flash drive • One electronic Excel file of the Bid Form provided on a USB flash drive Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or bid bond, in the amount of at least five (5) percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to City of Clare, as security for the proper execution of the Agreement. City of Clare reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in its best interest. Bids may not be withdrawn for the period of sixty (60) days after date of receiving bids. All inquiries shall be submitted to Michelle LaRose, P.E. at mlarose@geiconsultants.com.
