ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS AVONDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT INVITATION TO BID #9780 – AUBURN AND GATE NEW RTU INSTALLATION The Board of Education of Avondale School District is accepting firm prime contractor bids for all labor, material, equipment and all other services to complete the Auburn Head End and Gate Magnet new RTU Installation. This project falls under Prevailing Wage requirements per Michigan Public Act 10 of 2023. The project specific Michigan Prevailing Wage requirements are posted in the bid documents. All awarded contractors are required per the State of Michigan to register with the State of Michigan LEO website yearly. Certified payrolls are a requirement. Plans and specifications may be obtained electronically through PreconSuite and are available for review at the office of AUCH Construction, 65 University Drive, Pontiac, MI 48342 248.334.2000, on or after January 5, 2026. The bidding documents consist of plans and specifications as prepared by French Associates. Contact Mike Moceri at AUCH Construction for assistance. An ONSITE pre-bid meeting will be held on January 14th at 4:00pm This meeting is not mandatory, but highly encouraged. Only hard copy sealed bids will be accepted. Please include the appropriate proposal forms provided by the construction manager in the submission. Bids are to be delivered in be a sealed envelope on the forms provided. Envelope must show your company name, project name and bid proposal category of work. Hard copies MUST be delivered to Avondale School District at 2940 Waukegan St., Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Bids are due no later than January 20th, 2026 at 12:00pm NOON.(EST) Avondale School District will not accept or consider late bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by sworn and notarized familial affidavit. Avondale School District will not accept bids that do not include sworn and notarized familial affidavit. Bids over $31,321 must be accompanied with either a certified cashier’s check or a U.S. treasury listed security bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. Include this in your submission. Bids received without this guaranty will not be read or considered. Electronic scans on the cashier’s check are not acceptable. All cashier’s checks must be delivered prior to the due date and time. Cashier’s checks will be returned to the bidder upon execution of the contract. All proposals shall be firm for a period of ninety (90) days.
