Long Lake, Suite 200 Troy, MI 48098 (248) 823-2100 (248) 823-2200 fax BIDS RECEIVED: Until 2:00 PM local time on January 29, 2026 the Owner will receive sealed Bids for the work as set forth in the Bidding Documents at: Attention: Mr. Steven Siedlarz Assistant Superintendent for Financial Services Administrative Offices Avondale School District 2940 Waukegan Street Auburn Hills, MI 48326 At which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Board will not consider or accept a bid received after the date and time specified for bid submission. A bid tabulation summary will be available. The Bidding Documents will be on file on and after January 8, 2026. The Engineering/Technology Designer will furnish electronic documents to the Bidders. The documents may be downloaded from https://solution.ids-michigan.com/bids/avondale/HSauditoriumupgrades. Bidders are responsible to check the website from time to time to verify they have all addenda, requests for information and other documents related to the Bid. The Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. All Bids must include an Iran Sanctions Affidavit of Compliance. State of Michigan prevailing wages are required on this project. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) and provide proof of registration as part of their bid submission. Failure to include proof of registration with your bid response will result in your bid being rejected for non-compliance. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, money order or bid bond made payable to Avondale School District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid as a proposal guarantee. Bid Bond shall be provided by a company licensed to do business in the State of Michigan. A pre-bid conference and walk-thru is scheduled for January 12, 2026 at 3:30 PM local time. Bidders shall meet at Avondale High School located at 2800 Waukegan Street, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. The cost of the Bond shall be included in each proposal. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any information therein.
