NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING HURON VALLEY SCHOOLS COUNTY OF OAKLAND, MICHIGAN ON THE ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027 TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE HURON VALLEY SCHOOLS: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Education of the Huron Valley Schools, County of Oakland, Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Monday, the 1st day of June, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Milford High School, 2380 S. Milford Road, Highland, Michigan, to consider the approval and adoption of the operating budget of the Huron Valley Schools for the Fiscal Year 2026/2027. The Board of Education of the Huron Valley Schools may not adopt its proposed 2026/2027 budget until after the public hearing. Copies of the proposed budget are on file with the Secretary of the Board of Education at the offices of Huron Valley Schools, 2368 S. Milford Road, Highland, Michigan for inspection during regular business hours. At the public hearing, all citizens, taxpayers, and property owners in the Huron Valley Schools shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the approval of the proposed budget. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be the subject of this hearing.
