Barton Malow Builders requests proposals on behalf of Owner for the construction of Memphis Community Schools BP4T Athletic Fields Technology. Proposals will be received: 1. Proposals shall be based on the requirements set forth in the bid documents prepared by Barton Malow Technology Design dated April 7, 2026 for: 1. Bid Category: 271500 Structured Cabling Systems 2. Bid Category: 274119 Multipurpose AV Systems C. Bidding Documents can be viewed on Building Connected (link above). Accepted Bidder will be required, as a condition precedent to award of contract, to furnish, satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and Certificates of Insurance as required in the Project Manual. E. Project is subject to state sales and/or use taxes and bidder is required to include such taxes in its bid proposal. F. Project is subject to prevailing wage rates G. Barton Malow Builders, has been contracted by the Owner in the capacity of Construction Manager for the project, and shall act as representative of the Owner to the extent required/allowed under its Owner contract. H. No pre-bid conference is planned, potential bidders can reach out to schedule individual site walks if they want to see the field area. I. Barton Malow Builders Project Number: 250072 J. Bidders will be required to be pre-qualified with Barton Malow Builders prior to contract award. Bidders do not need to be pre-qualified to submit a bid. Qualification requirements will be shared with the awarded bidder, if they are not already pre-qualified, prior to signed contracts. K. Bid Proposals, once submitted, shall be valid for 60 days after submitted date. L. Bidders will be required to submit with their Bid Proposals, Bid Security, in the amount of 5% of base bid, by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the project is located. M. Bidders with an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) greater than 1.0 may not be considered for contract award. N. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Memphis Community Schools on the AIA Document A132-2019 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Construction Manager as Advisor Edition. O. All payments will be processed and paid through Textura/Oracle systems. P. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. 1.05 TENTATIVE PROJECT SCHEDULE A.
