Charter Township of Royal Oak Oakland County, Michigan The Charter Township of Oak Board of Trustees had a Special Meeting at the Township Hall, location of 21131 Garden Ln, Ferndale, MI 48220 Friday, March 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. to adopt Ordinance #260, Royal Oak Cottage II Tax Exemption Ordinance. This Ordinance is to provide for a service charge in lieu of taxes for a housing project for low-income people and families with either a federal aided Mortgage Loan or an Authority-aided Mortgage Loan or an Authority - aided Mortgage Loan or an advance or grant from the Authority pursuant to the provisions of the State Housing Development Act of 1966 (1966 PA 346, as amended, MCL 125.1401, et seq) (the “Act”).
