LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF LATHRUP VILLAGE NOTICE OF BOARD OF REVIEW 2026 ASSESSMENT ROLL The 2026 March Board of Review shall convene on March 9th and 11th, 2026, for the purpose of examining, reviewing, and conducting hearings to challenge the assessments and classification for property on the assessment roll, as prepared by the Lathrup Village City Assessor. Meetings are scheduled to be held in the Lathrup Village Public Services Office, in the Meeting Place, located at 27400 Southfield Road, Lathrup Village, Michigan 48076. The Board of Review will be in session for hearings according to the following schedule: Monday, March 9, 2026 – 9:00 am to 1:00 pm & 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2026 – 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm A property owner in the City of Lathrup Village may protest their tentative 2026 assessment or classification before the March Board of Review. Hearings must be conducted either in person or by letter appeal. An authorized representative may appear on behalf of the property owner with a letter of authorization. The letter of authorization must be provided prior to the hearing and signed by the property owner in the current assessment year. Property owners may also appeal by letter, which must be received in the Assessor’s Office by 4:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026. Appearances before the Board of Review should be made by appointment to ensure the appropriate amount of accommodation can be made in a timely manner. Appointments can be made by calling the Assessor’s Office at (248) 796-5240, or (248) 796-5232, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ALL appeals MUST be accompanied by the State Tax Commission Form L-4035, Petition to the Board of Review.
