MACOMB TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF HEARING ON AMENDED RESOLUTION ORDERING ESTABLISHMENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT FOR THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: All lots located in Pheasant Run Estates II Condominium, Macomb Township, 48042. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special assessment roll has been prepared and is on file in the office of the Township Clerk for public examination. Said special assessment roll has been prepared for the purpose of correcting errors within the original Resolution Ordering Establishment of Street Lighting District recorded on July 27, 2023 in Liber 29229, Page 288, Macomb County Records. The revisions are as follows: This Amended Resolution changes the name of the development from Pheasant Run Condominiums – Phase II to Pheasant Run Estates II Condominium as requested by the Developer, as well as correct the unit numbering and their corresponding addresses, and to add the units’ respective assessment values on Exhibit A. It shall be noted that this Amended Resolution Ordering Establishment of Street Lighting District does NOT change or alter the fees being paid for street lighting by the individual property owners. This amendment addresses a clerical change ONLY. Pheasant Run Estates II Condominium; Located on the South Side of 25 Mile Road, East of Luchtman Road; Section 9. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Township Board will meet on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. at the Township Offices, 54111 Broughton Road, Macomb Township 48042, for the purpose of reviewing said special assessment roll and hearing any objections thereto. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that appearance and protest at this hearing is required in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment to the State Tax Tribunal if an appeal should be desired. A property owner or party in interest, or his or her agent, may appear in person at the hearing to protest the special assessment or may file his or her protest by letter delivered to the Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 and his or her personal appearance shall not be required. The property owner or any person having an interest in the property subject to the proposed special assessments may file a written appeal of the special assessment with the State Tax Tribunal within thirty (30) days after the confirmation of the special assessment was protested at this hearing.
