AMEMNDMENT TO ORDINANCE 12.050 SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION The City of Mount Clemens has adopted an ordinance to amend the City’s Purchasing Department Ordinance to amend certain purchasing amounts and requirements set forth by City Charter and repeal all Ordinances in conflict therewith. The amendment changes the dollar amount of purchases that may be made in the open market without formal sealed bids and without the approval of the City Commission, from $1,500 to $15,000.00 or less. This amount matches what is contained in the city charter, which was amended in 2021 by Mount Clemens voters.
