ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS UTICA COMMUNITY SCHOOLS 2026 TRACK IMPROVEMENTS AEW PROJECT NO. 0209-3626, 0209-3726, 0209-3826, 0209-4226 RECEIPT OF BIDS Utica Community Schools (UCS) will receive sealed bids, labeled “UCS - 2026 Track Improvements”, addressed to “Attention: Ms. Kelli Rankin, Secretary, Board of Education, Utica Community Schools, Gibbing Administrative Center, 11303 Greendale, Sterling Heights, MI 48312” until 1:00pm, local time on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the UCS offices, 11303 Greendale, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48312, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, via zoom meeting. Bids received after the above specified date and time will not be opened, considered or accepted. They will be returned unopened. BID REQUIREMENTS All Bids must include a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance – Iran Economic Sanctions Act. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Reconstruction of existing gravel tracks, including HMA paving and track surfacing with associated restoration and storm sewer improvements with an estimated construction cost of $2,000,000.00. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS Plans and specifications should be obtained from AEW at aterry@aewinc.com or (586)726- 1234. Plans and specifications will be available on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM. AEW will maintain a plan-holder list and provide updates for any pertinent information. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2:30 pm, via Zoom. Zoom link will be sent out to all plan holders.
