ADVERTISEMENT CITY OF RICHMOND, MICHIGAN HOWARD STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT 2026-SR-2 Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Richmond, Michigan, at the office of the City Clerk, 36725 Division Road, P.O. Box 457, Richmond, Michigan 48062, until 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud, for the performance of Contract 2026-SR-2. The project includes the installation of storm sewer to the Richmond-Columbus (intercounty) Drain in the City of Richmond. Bids shall be on a unit price basis with lump sum prices for certain items of the Work. Plans and specifications may be obtained through the MITN Purchasing Group at www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn/city-of-richmond. All addendums will be posted on the BidNet website. Any information not obtained from the BidNet website should not be relied upon. All bidders must be a Plan Holder of record. Sealed bids marked “HOWARD STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS” should be mailed to the Richmond City Clerk, 36725 Division Road, P.O. Box 457, Richmond, Michigan 48062, or hand delivered to the office of the City Clerk prior to the scheduled bid opening stated in this advertisement. Bids must be submitted on the forms included with the bidding documents. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at the Richmond Municipal Offices, 36725 Division Rd, Richmond, MI 48062. Representatives from the Owner will be present to discuss the Project. The Owner will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as the Owner considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) in the form of a certified check or bidders bond is required with each proposal. The right is reserved by the Owner to accept any Proposal, to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any and all irregularities in Proposals. No bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
