The Township of Macomb Public Works office in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the Township of Macomb in Macomb County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, from approximately 4,600 feet upstream of 21 Mile Road to approximately 1,470 feet downstream of 23 Mile Road along North Branch Clinton River on FIRM panels #26099C0244G and #26099C0245G, dated 9/29/2006. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 25-05-0323R for a proposed project along North Branch Clinton River. Atwell, LLC is proposing to construct a residential development (Hickory Hollow Development). Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards from approximately 4,700 feet upstream of 21 Mile Road to approximately 1,470 feet downstream of 23 Mile Road along North Branch Clinton River. 1. The floodway will widen and narrow along North Branch Clinton River. 2. Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will increase, decrease, and be established along North Branch Clinton River. 3. The Special Flood Hazard Area will increase and decrease along North Branch Clinton River.
